President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Guliani has been under a lot of scrutiny lately. Most of the pressure comes as a result of his trips to Ukraine and his alleged involvement in the removal of the US ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch.
In a recent interview on the Ingraham Angle, Guliani defended himself against his critics.

Giuliani is a surprisingly articulate advocate when he chooses, and he made several important points:
First, he pointed out that the president has a duty to investigate crime and corruption at the highest level of our own government and the government of Ukraine.
This point cannot be overemphasized as it is being totally ignored by the mainstream media. The US and Ukraine have had a treaty for mutual legal assistance since 1999.
Second, Guliani emphasized that:
(President Trump) “is being impeached for doing the right thing.”
Again, he’s spot on. Trump’s focus on investigating corruption is a good thing, no matter what the Democrats say.
Yovanovitch blocked visas for witnesses to travel to the US
But the most fascinating part of the video is when Giuliani boldly admitted that he did in fact force former ambassador Yavonovich out. His explanation? Yovanovich was corrupt and she was blocking the travel of witnesses to the US to help with the corruption investigation of Ukraine.
Guliani also claimed to have a document proving that Yovanovitch committed perjury.
In his telling, Yovanovitch blocked Viktor Shokin’s visa application to travel to the US to give testimony about the Bidens and the 2016 election. Guliani says he knows four more people who were denied visas by Yovanovitch in order to obstruct the investigation into Biden and/or the DNC. These are explosive allegations if true.
Guliani also pointed to the Ukrainian interference in the 2016 US election and Yovanovich’s response to it. When Yovanovitch was asked by Jim Jordan in the House Intelligence Committee Impeachment inquiry hearing if she complained about the interference, she said she hadn’t.
For these reasons and more, Giuliani isn’t a fan of the former ambassador.
If Guliani is right, Yovanovich is not the sweet, gentle, faithful, patriotic public servant that she said she was.
