Duck Dynasty reality show star Sadie Robertson is calling it quits with her latest boyfriend.

The 21-year-old and Disney Channel sitcom actor Austin North have reportedly split after four months of dating.

The pair had stopped posting photos of themselves together on social media in June.

Friendly split

“We broke up,” Robertson said. “He’s an amazing guy and I wish him all the best. We’re friends. It just didn’t work out.”

She went on to note that they split on good terms, saying: “He actually just texted me the other day and said he was thinking about me…and I think that’s beautiful. That’s how it should be.”

Robertson explained that she had first spoken with North online in 2016, and though the pair had swapped phone numbers and talked with each other, things sort of “fizzled out” when they weren’t able to actually meet in person — that is, until a mutual friend who didn’t know the two had become online friends attempted to set them up for a date in Los Angeles, CA.

“Almost two years have gone by and I was in L.A. for my book press and my friend said she wanted to set me up with someone… To my surprise, it was Austin!” Robertson recalled. “We both laughed and couldn’t believe the randomness of finally meeting [through] a friend who had no idea we even knew each other. [We] had heart eyes for each other.”

Qualities to look for in the next one

Robertson explained that she is looking forward to being single again and isn’t focused on dating anyone new just yet.

Instead, she plans to focus on the grand opening of the “Duck Commander: The Tour,” a new exhibit at the famous family’s headquarters in West Monroe, LA, where visitors can tour the facility and learn about the family’s faith and history.

As for the eventual next boyfriend for Robertson, she explained that she doesn’t “necessarily have a type” specifically, but is generally looking for certain qualities in a man that she values.

Hoping to find a relationship full of “purpose,” Robertson said, “I’m looking for somebody who is the same way where things just matter and that faith is the most important thing in their life and they can be passionate about the things that we get to do and that’s an important quality.”

It remains to be seen how long Robertson will remain single and focused on her family’s business ventures before diving back into the dating pool.
