Melania Trump’s spokeswoman slams ‘The View’ hosts: ‘Check your facts’

Make sure to let us know what you think... we now have comments turned ON below the article!

Alongside their seething hatred of President Donald Trump, the cohosts of ABC’s The View are no fans of First Lady Melania Trump, either — and they’ve spent the last several days following the conclusion of the first lady’s solo trip to Africa attacking her.

But the first lady’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham wasn’t having it. She clapped back at the hosts on Twitter on Friday, urging them to “check your facts.”

Accused of being a mistress

ABC News correspondent Tom Llamas, who’d just interviewed Mrs. Trump in Africa, joined The View‘s regular cast on Friday to talk about Trump’s responses to his questions — one of which inquired into the first lady’s opinion of the president’s alleged past infidelities.

Melania Trump responded that such things were “not a concern” to her, because she had more important things to focus on. But it didn’t take long for The View‘s cohosts to to start speculating.

Yvette Nicole Brown surmised: “Is it possible that she’s not concerned with his mistresses because she was one of them?”

Llamas had appropriately replied that, “whether you like her or you don’t like her,” the first lady was still deserving of respect, to which Brown had retorted: “I don’t respect her.”

Those remarks came after just a day after the show’s hosts attacked the first lady for saying she only supported women who made accusations of sexual misconduct when they had actual evidence to support their claims.

“Check your facts”

But the first lady’s top line of defense had her back. Spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham addressed the disgusting insinuations from Brown and The View with a biting tweet on Friday, writing:

Grisham tagged Llamas and ABC News in the sharp tweet that also included the hashtags “disrespectful,” “accusation” and “liberal media.”

For all of the talk from the left about how there is a need for more civil political discourse and how the institutions of our nation must always be respected, liberals on this ABC talkshow sure say some uncivil things about the current administration

The first lady could have ignored this disgusting slight from the harpies on The View, but times have changed — and the left doesn’t get to smear people with malign accusations sans evidence any longer.

  1. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I imply, I know it was my option to read, however I truly thought youd have something attention-grabbing to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you would repair when you werent too busy on the lookout for attention.

  4. I do love the manner in which you have framed this particular issue and it really does supply us a lot of fodder for thought. However, through what precisely I have experienced, I simply hope when other opinions pile on that men and women stay on point and don’t get started on a tirade of the news du jour. Still, thank you for this superb point and whilst I do not necessarily agree with it in totality, I regard the standpoint.

  6. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement? My website has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any techniques to help reduce content from being ripped off? I’d genuinely appreciate it.

  7. Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. But imagine if you added some great graphics or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and videos, this website could definitely be one of the greatest in its field. Amazing blog!
