Melania Trump returns to White House from hospital

Make sure to let us know what you think... we now have comments turned ON below the article!

First lady Melania Trump checked into the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Monday to undergo surgery on one of her kidneys.

After five days of observation following the successful surgery, she was released from the hospital and returned to the White House on Saturday.

President Donald Trump tweeted upon her return, “Great to have our incredible First Lady back home in the White House. Melania is feeling and doing really well. Thank you for all of your prayers and best wishes!”

According to The Daily Caller, the first lady was visited several times during her stay at the hospital by her husband and was grateful for the outpouring of support she had received.

“The First Lady returned home to the White House this morning. She is resting comfortably and remains in high spirits,” stated Stephanie Grisham, the first lady’s communications director.

“Our office has received thousands of calls and emails wishing Mrs. Trump well, and we thank everyone who has taken the time to reach out,” Grisham added.

Trump had undergone an embolization procedure on Monday to deal with a benign condition involving one of her kidneys. That operation was deemed a success and there were reportedly no complications.

Nevertheless, her doctors decided to keep her in the hospital under observation out of an abundance of caution to ensure that her recovery went as smooth as possible.

Now that she has fully recovered and returned to the White House, Trump is ready to resume her work as first lady on behalf of children everywhere.

There is no doubt that both President Trump and their young son Barron are thrilled to have the first lady back home from the hospital and in good health.

So too are supporters of the first family, who probably still need to offer up prayers of support for their continued good health and strength against the ever-present tide of mean-spirited hatefulness spewed daily from the family’s detractors.

It is quite unfortunate that over the last ten years, the travel industry has already been able to to fight terrorism, SARS, tsunamis, bird flu, swine flu, plus the first ever real global economic downturn. Through all of it the industry has proven to be robust, resilient in addition to dynamic, locating new solutions to deal with trouble.
