Actress Rose McGowan rips Hillary Clinton for protecting ‘predators’ like Harvey Weinstein

Make sure to let us know what you think... we now have comments turned ON below the article!

Investigative journalist Ronan Farrow was instrumental in exposing the sordid sexual misconduct of disgraced Hollywood producer and Democrat financier Harvey Weinstein in 2017 — but it wasn’t without struggle. Farrow has since released a book that exposes the efforts made by Weinstein and his associates — including NBC executives and even Hillary Clinton — to “catch and kill” his explosive story prior to publication.

Now, actress Rose McGowan, who has credibly accused Weinstein of sexually assaulting and raping her, is calling out Clinton for her close connections to Weinstein. The Hollywood star has disavowed her previous support for the failed Democratic presidential nominee, according to The Washington Free Beacon.

Clinton exposed

The Free Beacon reported that McGowan erupted on Twitter with a series of tweets highlighting some of the disturbing revelations included in Farrow’s new book, Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators.

In the early hours of Friday morning, McGowan fired off several tweets that took particular aim at Hillary Clinton and her apparent support of “monsters” and “predators” who preyed upon women — namely, Weinstein and, of course, Clinton’s own husband.

McGowan speaks the truth

First linking to an article from the Hollywood Reporter that summarized Farrow’s book, McGowan tweeted: “I knew that Hillary Clinton’s people were protecting the Monster. I can’t believe I used to support her. I guess predators are her style.”

Just a couple of moments later, the actress posted another tweet that read: “Hillary Clinton, did you have any concern for your husband’s victims? And what about [Harvey Weinstein] victims? No? Didn’t think so.”

That tweet contained a screenshot of the relevant passage in the Reporter article that shared Farrow’s account of how Nick Merrill, a top aide for Hillary Clinton, had cautioned Farrow against any further pursuit of his story on Weinstein, apparently even using access to Clinton for an unrelated interview as leverage to gain the journalist’s compliance.

Perhaps in response to criticism she was receiving in the comments to her prior posts, McGowan posted once more early Friday morning with regard to the subject, clarifying: “I am against abuse of power, whether it be Trump, Clinton, [Harvey Weinstein], [NBC]... the list is long. I’m not raging, I just really, really dislike liars and those who protect them.”

“Monsters walk amongst us”

McGowan was not entirely finished, however. Later Friday, she tweeted out a screenshot of an article that mentioned her earlier tweets on Clinton.

These tweets from McGowan were indeed “#Brave” for the liberal actress to post, ensconced as she is in liberal-dominated Hollywood, where dissent against the liberal narrative and speaking out against favored individuals — like Hillary Clinton — is not only frowned upon, but risky for one’s career.

Hopefully, McGowan’s decision to openly express her dissent will inspire others to do the same.
