An anti-cop, race-obsessed social justice warrior on social media, as well as an attorney, made life utter hell for a Texas State Trooper for several days after they amplified accusations that he had sexually assaulted a woman during a traffic stop for driving while intoxicated.

But the Texas Department of Public Safety released nearly two-hours of body cam footage from the arresting officer which revealed no such sexual assault ever occurred, which prompted a gracious apology from the attorney and a retraction — sans apology — from the bitter SJW.

According to KDFW, the incident in question occurred around 1:30 am Sunday when 37-year-old Sherita Dixon-Cole was pulled over and arrested for drunk driving.

She later accused the officer of offering to let her go in exchange for sexual favors and claimed he fondled and groped her on the way to jail.

Those accusations were echoed on social media by anti-cop race-hustler Shaun King, as well as Cole’s attorney Lee Merritt, which sparked death threats against the trooper and an internal investigation by Texas DPS.

They released the body cam footage Tuesday which totally refuted Cole’s claims with only minimal personal information blurred or rendered inaudible.

“The Department is appalled that anyone would make such a despicable, slanderous and false accusation against a peace officer who willingly risks his life every day to protect and serve the public,” said DPS in a statement.

“That video clearly shows the world that this trooper conducted himself beyond reproach. Yet, he still was subject do a very malicious public persecution despite that,” stated Ellis County District Attorney Patrick Wilson, who added that another trooper with the same last name also received harassment and threats.

In response to the video, Merritt issued an apology in a Facebook post which admitted the officer had conducted himself appropriately and should be cleared of all accusations of wrongdoing.

“It is deeply troubling when innocent parties are falsely accused and I am truly sorry for any trouble these claims may have caused” the officer and his family, wrote Merritt, who took responsibility for his role in amplifying the false claims.

As for King, who asserted that Cole’s claims were established facts, he took down his social media post spreading those claims and blamed Cole for victimizing both the officer and activists like himself who defended her, but never apologized for the role he played.

Cole could end up facing additional criminal charges for making the false report which asserted the disgusting and false accusations.
